Dear Wil, I don’t hate you
Yesterday Wil Wheaton posted this gem on his blog:
It is 75 degrees in my back yard. I am sitting at my desk in shorts and a T-shirt, recently returned from a jog around my neighborhood.It’s sunny and clear out, with just a few little clouds floating along across the mountains.Bird and Diz just started to play Leapfrog on my iTunes party shuffle, and it’s a perfect tune for this very moment.
I’m going to go get an iced green tea (99 cents at Trader Joe’s, real brewed and everything, not that fake Lipton crap) and drink it while I stand barefoot on the grass outside my window.
Wil, I don’t hate you. I would just like to invite you to come and stand on my deck barefoot in your shorts and t-shirt. You can have your tea and use my wireless connection to update your blog if you wish.
