This week’s show felt a little rushed, to me, because I had some audio problems that put me behind on my recording schedule. Nevertheless, there is a show for you. Enjoy.
Thanks to everyone who gave me the heads up on the fake book. Shortly after I posted last week’s podcast I found an update to the story indicating it was no good. I went to update the podcast and the show notes and munged everything, destroying the post. So that’s why there were no show notes last week (except for the few who pulled down the podcast and visited the site before I lost the post).
Something happened on the way to teh intertubes and this episode disappeared. It’s back now with fewer show notes. I’ll add them back in later.

19:28 – A break in the clouds! I get a glimpse through pockets of clear sky. Beautiful! Pictures forthcoming.
18:58 – Totality ends. Still overcast.
18:21 – It’s now mid-totality and skies are still overcast. There is a clear patch overhead but it doesn’t look like the clouds are moving fast enough for me to see the eclipse.
17:21 – I took a couple of the kids to the park in the hopes that things would clear up but things don’t look so good.
