Back to the old theme

I totally messed up the new site design so it’s back to the old theme. There will be a redesign but this time I’m going to do it the right way by setting up a development site.

Water is Life – A new book from Critical Press Media benefiting Podcasting for Water and Living Water International

I’m pleased to announce that Winston Crutchfield over at Critical Press Media has released a book to benefit Podcasting for Water and Living Water International.

Water is Life includes original fiction from Deborah Caligiuri, Laura Thompson, Kelsey Felder, and Justin Lowmaster. David Crutchfield contributes an all-new Gargoyle story, and Winston Crutchfield takes us to the Atomic Earth. These modern writers are joined by classic works and essays on the importance and history of clean water.

When Winston first told me he wanted to do this I was very humbled. I continue to be humbled by the generosity of others. People have given up their money, time, facial hair, podcasting air time and prayers all to help raise money for people who need clean water. There are no words to express the immense blessings I’ve received from joining with other to make the world a better place in the name of Jesus.

Advent Conspiracy

Spend less, give more, worship fully, love all. That’s what I strive for my Christmas season to be like. Unfortunately, I get caught up in the presents and rushing around and don’t spend time building traditions that will change the world, one person at a time. Fortunately, the folks at Advent Conspiracy are around to give me a kick in the pants and remind me that there are more important things in life than participating in an “orgy of consumerism” (credit to Derek Gilbert).
