Thanks to everyone who gave me the heads up on the fake book. Shortly after I posted last week’s podcast I found an update to the story indicating it was no good. I went to update the podcast and the show notes and munged everything, destroying the post. So that’s why there were no show notes last week (except for the few who pulled down the podcast and visited the site before I lost the post).
19:28 – A break in the clouds! I get a glimpse through pockets of clear sky. Beautiful! Pictures forthcoming.
18:58 – Totality ends. Still overcast.
18:21 – It’s now mid-totality and skies are still overcast. There is a clear patch overhead but it doesn’t look like the clouds are moving fast enough for me to see the eclipse.
17:21 – I took a couple of the kids to the park in the hopes that things would clear up but things don’t look so good.
Wil, I don’t hate you. I would just like to invite you to come and stand on my deck barefoot in your shorts and t-shirt. You can have your tea and use my wireless connection to update your blog if you wish.
